Bocelli’s journey to stardom was anything but conventional. While studying law at the University of Pisa, he performed in piano bars to support himself. His big break came in 1992 when Italian rock singer Zucchero Fornaciari invited him to record a demo of Miserere, originally meant for Luciano Pavarotti.
