Trenitalia has announced planned infrastructure works that will impact Frecce services from 25 July thought 31 August 2026.
Key impacts include:
- Milan–Venice / Vicenza
Multiple train pairs will be subject to cancelation or divertsion; some journeys may be up to 120 minutes longer. - Rome–Florence and Bologna–Milan
Simultaneous August works will significantly affect the network; Rome–Milan journeys may take up to 90 minutes longer. - Rome–Mantua and Perugia–Turin
Selected train pairs will face major service limitations and/or cancelation.
Also impacted
- Rome–Genoa / Northern Tyrrhenian Corridor
From 08/31/2026, works will require timetable adjustments and will increase journey times on affected services.
Trenitalia will send an email to the address you used at booking if your journey is affected.
