Until May 5th, 2024, Federdoc (Confederazione Nazionale dei Consorzi Volontari per la Tutela delle Denominazioni di Origine) brings forth a gastronomic extravaganza – Federdoc Miami Restaurant Week. Amidst the exhilaration of the Formula 1 Grand Prix event, Miami opens its arms to embrace the essence of Italian cuisine and wine.

Exploring Italian Wine with Federdoc

Curious about the art of wine pairing? Eager to unravel the mysteries behind Italian wines with Geographical Indication? Federdoc’s international event promises answers to these questions and more. With an aim to educate and delight, Federdoc presents an array of activities during the Restaurant Week, enticing enthusiasts to delve into the world of Italian wine.

Savoring Italian Delights: Participating Restaurants

Embark on a culinary journey across Italy without leaving Miami, as 15 selected restaurants play host to lunch, happy hour, and dinner. From the rustic charm of Northern Italy to the coastal flavors of the Mediterranean, each establishment offers a unique experience. Among these culinary havens is Salumeria 104, our gracious host location, where tradition meets innovation in every dish.

A Taste of Tradition at Salumeria 104

Nestled in the heart of Midtown Miami, Salumeria 104 exudes the warmth of Italian hospitality. Led by Chef Angelo Masarin, this trattoria-style gem embodies the soul of Italian cuisine. With a nod to his Venetian roots, Chef Masarin crafts dishes reminiscent of his grandmother’s kitchen, infusing each creation with passion and authenticity.

Kick-off to Federdoc Miami Restaurant Week. Journalists, bloggers, authors and some participating restaurant owners, along with IEEM management attended.

Indulging in Gastronomic Delights

As guests of Salumeria 104, we embarked on a culinary odyssey, guided by the expertise of Chef Masarin. Our journey commenced with an enticing array of antipasti, featuring Italian charcuterie, vitello tonnato, and an assortment of pickled vegetables. Each bite offered a symphony of flavors, a tribute to the richness of Italian culinary heritage.

  • Selezione di Affettati e Formaggi Italiani | Italian charcuterie board
  • Vitello Tonnato | Thinly sliced roasted veal covered with a creamy tuna sauce and fried capers.
  • Insalatina Mista – Giardiniera & Olive | Pickled vegetables & Castelvetrano marinated olives

Primo:

Ravioli di Ricotta e Spinaci Burro e Salvia | Ricotta & spinach ravioli with butter and sage sauce.

Secondo:

Filetto di Branzino ala Mediterranea servitor con Asparagi | Broiled butterfly branzino served with asparagus.
