Italian food lovers, rejoice! Eataly in Aventura Mall opens on June 12 at 3 pm, bringing South Floridians a one-of-a-kind destination for Italian food, wine, and culture. This is Eataly’s first Florida location and the only one in the Southeastern United States—making it a major milestone for the brand and for Miami-area food lovers. Live in Italy Magazine will attend the media preview and VIP celebration, with more coverage coming soon in our summer issue and across our social media channels.

Eataly Aventura spans more than 30,000 square feet. The space includes two full-service restaurants and a Lavazza café. Guests will also find several quick-service counters and a robust Italian marketplace. A wine shop with a Riserva room and a cooking school complete the experience.

Eataly operates 14 locations in North America and over 50 worldwide. Its mission remains clear: to bring the best of Italy to global audiences through immersive culinary experiences.

“As one of the premier shopping destinations in the country, we couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with Aventura Mall and the team at Turnberry on our first location in the state of Florida,” said Tommaso Brusò, CEO of Eataly North America. “Our mission with Eataly Aventura is to transport guests to Italy without ever having to leave Miami-Dade County.”

Jackie Soffer, Chairman and CEO of Turnberry, added: “Bringing Eataly to Aventura Mall is more than just welcoming a globally loved brand — it’s about creating a space where our community can gather, savor, and experience the joy of Italian culture.”

What to Expect

Eataly Aventura features two sit-down restaurants. La Pizza & La Pasta focuses on Neapolitan-style pizza and artisanal pasta, seating nearly 300 guests. Il Pastaio, meaning “pasta maker,” celebrates the craft of fresh pasta-making, with daily live demonstrations and seating for 90 near the open production space.

The market offers a wide selection of high-quality Italian products, including extra virgin olive oils, bronze-extruded pastas, sauces, salumi, cheeses, sweets, and seasonal items like panettoni and caviar. Guests will also find fresh produce, housemade pasta, meats, and ready-to-eat options—all made onsite or imported directly from Italy.

Quick-Service Counters and Lavazza Café

Need a quick bite? Eataly’s counters include Lavazza caffè for authentic Italian coffee drinks; La Pasticceria for pastries and cakes; Il Gelato for gelato and sorbetto; Pizza alla Pala for Roman-style pizza; and a dedicated Panini counter serving focaccia and farcita.

Cooking School and Grand Opening Events

In line with Eataly’s philosophy of “eat, shop, and learn,” the in-house cooking school will host ongoing classes and educational events.

To celebrate the grand opening, Eataly Aventura will offer ten days of free public programming. The calendar includes wine tastings, producer showcases, workshops, and classes. Full details are available at Eventbrite.

Looking Ahead

While future Florida expansions are anticipated, including a Palm Beach location, all eyes are currently on Aventura. With its immersive design, diverse culinary offerings, and celebration of Italian craftsmanship, Eataly in Aventura Mall is set to become a favorite destination for locals and tourists alike.
