Job Opportunity at the Italian Cultural Institute of Miami

The Italian Cultural Institute of Miami (Istituto Italiano di Cultura negli Stati Uniti Miami) and the Consulate General of Italy in Miami are hiring! They are looking for two full-time administrative collaborators to assist with accounting, cultural events, and translation services. Applications are due by February 25, 2025.

Who Can Apply?

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have resided in the U.S. for at least two years.
  • Be in good physical health.
  • (For non-U.S. citizens) Have a valid permanent resident card (Green Card).

Application Process

To apply, submit a completed application form along with:

  • A scanned copy of a valid ID or passport.
  • Proof of education and work experience.
  • A declaration of citizenship, residency, and any legal matters.

Applications must be submitted by email to iicmiami.direttore@esteri.it no later than February 25, 2025, at 11:59 PM (Miami time).

Selection Process

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will take:

  • A written translation test (Italian to English and English to Italian).
  • An oral exam to assess fluency in Italian and English.
  • A computer skills test covering Microsoft Office and digital tools.
  • An accounting test to evaluate basic bookkeeping knowledge.

Final Steps

Selected candidates must provide official documents such as birth certificates, proof of residence, and a criminal background check. Those without a Green Card cannot be hired.
