Discover Hotel La Madonnina Ischia: A Four-StarJewel on the Tyrrhenian Sea

Hotel La Madonnina Ischia was born from an eternal gesture of love. A man from Ischia, captivated by the beauty of a Milanese woman, dedicated the name of this residence, once private, to her. That emotional bond has endured through time, imbuing the hotel with a profound soul, rich in history, passion, and a hospitality that speaks the language of the heart. “Our home is your home,” says Mrs. Rosa – the owner of the property – and it is with this spirit that I invite you to step inside and discover the essence of this place.

Some History

Hotel La Madonnina is not just a place to stay; it is a symbol of resilience and innovation that has marked the history of Ischia. Under the careful direction of Benedetta De Cristofaro, a young entrepreneur, the hotel has redefined the concept of hospitality, demonstrating that female leadership can bring freshness and vitality to a sector traditionally dominated by male figures.

Founded in the 1950s, Hotel La Madonnina was one of the first luxury hotels on the island, located along the waterfront of Casamicciola Terme, a renowned area famous for its thermal waters and their healing properties. Over the years, however, the hotel faced difficult times. Under various managements, it experienced a decline that nearly brought it to ruin, threatening to erase one of the most significant emblems of hospitality on Ischia.

Four-Star Elegance

The rebirth of the hotel took place in 2011, when an enthusiast of the island recognized the potential of this historic structure. After a complete renovation, La Madonnina regained its original splendor, also earning its fourth star—a milestone that elevated its reputation in the market. Thanks to this restyling, the hotel reclaimed its status as an emblem of hospitality, becoming a reference point for tourists. The official startup occurred in 2014, and since then, each season has marked record results.

Hotel La Madonnina offers 21 rooms, including two Superior rooms, a Junior Suite Amaca, and a Junior Suite Jacuzzi, all equipped with modern comforts such as Wi-Fi, air conditioning, smart TV, and private facilities. The highly professional staff is trained to provide high-quality service, maintaining a friendly, attentive, and unobtrusive attitude.

Culinary Journey

The hotel’s restaurant offers a culinary journey that masterfully reinterprets the island’s gastronomic tradition, using only fresh, local ingredients. From breakfast to dinner, each dish pays homage to the authentic flavors of Ischia, enriched with innovative touches that surprise and delight the palate. Guests can enjoy breakfast and dinner on a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea, where the panoramic view combines with an enchanting atmosphere. During lunch, guests are welcomed in the private beachfront restaurant, an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the sea breeze. It is important to note that the restaurant is also open to non-hotel guests, allowing anyone who wishes to experience a special moment in this little corner of paradise.

Breathtaking Sea Views

The hotel also boasts a private cove, accessible by elevator, where guests can enjoy hours of relaxation and tranquility. The breathtaking sea view creates an idyllic setting to escape from daily routines. Additionally, the wellness center and fitness area are available for guests, offering relaxing treatments and fitness opportunities. The hotel also organizes excursions and cooking or yoga classes, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the local culture.

Attention to detail is fundamental at Hotel La Madonnina. Each season, the establishment carries out regular and extraordinary maintenance to maintain the aesthetics and quality of the spaces. The commitment to a consistently fresh and welcoming image is evident in every corner of the hotel, which stands out for its ability to uphold high standards while facing the challenges of a constantly evolving market

Benedetta De Cristofaro

Benedetta De Cristofaro has managed to maintain and elevate standards, responding to the needs of an increasingly demanding international clientele. A young entrepreneur who constantly promotes a customer-oriented corporate culture is one of the examples of entrepreneurship that deserves highlighting. Her attentive gaze, remarkable problem-solving ability, and drive for excellence make Benedetta De Cristofaro a dynamic leader capable of turning every challenge into an opportunity. Her innovative vision and unwavering commitment to excellence not only enrich the guests’ experience but also strengthen Hotel La Madonnina’s reputation as a beacon of hospitality on the island.
