Francesco Martucci Miami Opens in Wynwood

In the world of pizza, the name Francesco Martucci is synonymous with excellence. Among his many accolades, this pizzaiolo won the title of World’s Best Pizza Chef in 2025. After wowing diners at his flagship restaurant in Caserta, he is bringing his famed take on pizza to Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood. The arrival of Francesco Martucci Miami comes as the city continues to cement itself as a hotspot for Italian culture and cuisine.

Liberty Entertainment Group, a leading Toronto-based hospitality company, made the milestone expansion possible. And though it’s only been open since January 16, 2026, Martucci’s U.S. debut is already making waves; promising his signature fine-dining experience in the heart of South Florida.

The Vibe

Martucci’s endeavor into the American market already appears destined for success in Miami’s dining scene. In a press release, he said, “Miami has its own heartbeat. It’s vibrant, creative, always in motion.” He went on to liken the city’s energy to that of pizza: “It reminds me of the moment a pizza comes out of the oven: hot, alive, meant to be shared. I wanted to bring that energy here, with flavors rooted in Italy but a spirit that feels very Miami.”

The restaurant features a moody ambience, juxtaposing modern design with warmth. Dark wood and black finishes like its painted ceiling, leather chairs, and even the placemats, create a sophisticated effect. Delivering pure elegance, it sets the tone for an evening out in an area with a bustling arts and culture scene and nightlife.

The Taste

Dining at Francesco Martucci Miami offers diners a slice of Italy in the heart of South Florida. Thousands of miles separate this location from his Caserta flagship, and yet, it delivers the same quality. From fresh Campania-sourced buffalo mozzarella to locally-grown ingredients, this is a feast for the senses. But the clear showstopper is Martucci’s famed slow-fermented dough, the one that won international praise. Additionally, a dedicated kitchen prepares a gluten-free menu, which ensures a safe dining experience for celiac and gluten sensitive diners.

Beyond the use of fine quality ingredients is the restaurant’s wood-fired oven, hand-built by Italian masons with materials like bricks sourced from the volcanic hills of the Campania region. These details ensure Martucci delivers an authentic experience that transports diners to Italy in the heart of the vibrant Wynwood.

Final Thoughts on Francesco Martucci Miami

Francesco Martucci Miami is a must-try in the Miami area searching for authentic Neapolitan pizza in a swanky setting. Set to become a success in the local dining scene, the restaurant is open nightly for dinner. Given the popularity, reservations are encouraged.
