The Italian Cultural Institute of Miami (Istituto Italiano di Cultura negli Stati Uniti Miami) and the Consulate General of Italy in Miami are hiring! They are looking for two full-time administrative collaborators to assist with accounting, cultural events, and translation services. Applications are due by February 25, 2025.
Who Can Apply?
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Have resided in the U.S. for at least two years.
- Be in good physical health.
- (For non-U.S. citizens) Have a valid permanent resident card (Green Card).
Application Process
To apply, submit a completed application form along with:
- A scanned copy of a valid ID or passport.
- Proof of education and work experience.
- A declaration of citizenship, residency, and any legal matters.

Selection Process
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will take:
- A written translation test (Italian to English and English to Italian).
- An oral exam to assess fluency in Italian and English.
- A computer skills test covering Microsoft Office and digital tools.
- An accounting test to evaluate basic bookkeeping knowledge.
Final Steps
Selected candidates must provide official documents such as birth certificates, proof of residence, and a criminal background check. Those without a Green Card cannot be hired.
